The last 10 km is maintained sand road accessible without an SUV or 4x4 vehicle.

The reserve venue is perfect for folks who love the bush and wildlife, and its configuration is also well-suited for private groups, retreats, mountain bike tours, and family gatherings. Children are welcome but under close adult supervision, as it is a natural environment with no specific children’s areas other than the pool. Self-catering and catering options are available. This is a unique getaway that has much to offer. There is an abundance of Marula Trees, Acacias, and other indigenous trees, plants and shrubs. The healthy balance of animals includes antelope species of Eland, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Common Duiker, Waterbuck, Springbok, Blue and Golden Wildebeest as well as species of Zebra and Giraffe. Reptile, Insect, and small Cat species are very much a part of the natural habitat. Birdlife is stunning with both year-long and migratory residents. A large earth dam is home to a breeding pair of Verreaux Eagles, and the Spotted Eagle Owl, Pearl Spotted Owl, and African Scops Owl frequent the accommodation “hub” at seasonal times.
